As a Group Financial Controller at Catella, you will play a key role in reporting and consolidation while contributing to the continued development of finance processes and integration activities across the organization. You will be responsible for the consolidation system AARO and make sure the system is up to date with the current needs and initiate projects for future requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing for the Group according to IFRS, including consolidation of financial information and cashflow from subsidiaries
- Handle acquisitions, divestments, and liquidations in AARO as well as related journal entries
- Supporting, guiding, and working closely with local finance teams across the Group
- Contribute to the improvement and streamlining of group accounting processes
- Drive and participate in finance development projects focused on efficiency, standardization, digitalization, and automation
- Responsible for the consolidation system AARO
We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance or accounting and the ideal candidate has a background in audit with a couple of years of experience in group accounting, preferably from listed environments. Meritorious if you have worked in AARO or a similar reporting system but we believe that you need to have an interest in systems that you further want to develop.
As a person, we believe that you are self-motivated and responsible with a strong analytical mindset. You should possess a structured approach with strong prioritization skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate seamlessly across different parts of the organization. The right candidate enjoys working in a role that combines technical accounting expertise with collaboration, structure and continuous improvement.
The position is based at Catella’s head office at Birger Jarlsgatan 6, and you will report to Group Chief Accountant.
