We are looking for a results-oriented Business Controller who excels in a dynamic, high-growth environment and demonstrates a strong commitment to operational excellence. This role requires a sophisticated blend of strategic development, rigorous data analysis, and proactive cross-functional collaboration to drive business value. The Business Controller works closely with the accounting department and reports directly to the CFO. Engagement and understanding of the business through collaboration within the finance department and across the company departments is a central aspect of the role.
Key responsibilities
- Review and control financial data and prepare monthly reporting for management team, board and owners. Responsible for monthly KPI reporting to owners.
- Lead the work on structuring and executing the quarterly forecasting process
- Work closely with business area directors to develop and review monthly financial and KPI information and provide support for their ongoing financially driven decision making
- Work with accounting department to ensure data granularity and quality across departments and dimensions
- Prepare, maintain and develop key financial and operational datasets financial models and processes such as forecasting, budgeting and sales analysis
- Responsible for preparing, collecting and maintaining KPIs and financial metrics across business areas and departments
- Lead strategic initiatives and key cross functional projects
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives
To be successful in this role, you are likely to have at least three years of experience in Transactions Services or as Business Controller/FP&A in a similar environment, where you have gained an exceptional level of financial acumen and analytical skills. You are an advanced Excel user who enjoys diving into large datasets to find the “why” behind the numbers. If you have experience of working with different ERP systems and/or Power BI, it will be considered as an advantage.
You bring strong interpersonal capabilities and the professional versatility to engage effectively at every level of the organization. You possess the technical depth required for rigorous data analysis alongside the communication skills necessary to present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with clarity and impact.
