Group Accounting within Dometic is part of Group Finance and is responsible for financial analysis, control, and external reporting of the group consisting of about 100 companies globally. Specifically, the function is responsible for the group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reports, including the forecast and financial plan reporting according to IFRS. The function retains ownership of the group’s unified consolidation system, AARO. Group Accounting engages closely with all reporting entities and other Group Finance functions. The financial insights it generates are essential for the executive leadership, board of directors, and public stakeholders, emphasizing the necessity for accuracy, quality, and punctuality.

Who are we looking for:

We are now searching for a Group Accountant Specialist with a genuine interest in accounting and IFRS who will be part of the Group Accounting team of three persons reporting to Head of Group Accounting. The position will act as Dometic Group´s IFRS specialist and will project lead implementation of new accounting standards and be the expert on ESEF tagging of the Annual report.

We are looking for candidates with an Academic degree and at least 5-7 years of experience either from Big4 or from group reporting in an international group in a listed company with high reporting quality. You like to share best practice, are social and open minded and value good communication and good cooperation with your colleagues and other contact areas in the organisation. Previous experience working as project leader for internal projects and experience from leading teams is a plus in this role. You need to have excellent Swedish and English skills to be successful in this role as part of a truly international organisation in a high paced environment. 

Main Responsibilities

• Being the specialist of IFRS accounting principles and the project leader when implementing new accounting standards in the group.
• Responsibility for the tagging of the annual report according to ESEF and project lead the annual reporting process.
• Play an active role in developing processes and routines within Group Finance and project lead the yearly update of the Finance Manual.
• Participate in the group consolidation and the reporting of forecast and budget.
• Support and train the subsidiaries in accounting- and reporting related questions.
• Participate in M&A-projects.
