Early 2024 EQT entered a joint investment together with Adelis, further expanding the HVD Group- Family with an exciting addition of Next One technology. HVD Group and Next provide cloud-based software to tradespeople and construction firms in the Nordics, targeting a range of professions among many, electricians, plumbers, infrastructure & construction, and contractors. 

With a large customer group that is in dire need of digitalisation, we are transforming the industry one customer at a time. Our mission is to empower all our customers to embark on a digitalization journey that improves both their efficiency and sustainability. The modern software solutions offered by HVD Group and Next enable us to establish an even stronger presence and offering to our customers throughout the Nordics and Germany. 

HVD Group is a fast-growing company with a clear strategy of how to expand the group, both locally and internationally through strategic acquisitions and organic growth.

As a result of this exciting journey, HVD Group is looking to further develop its finance function to support the company’s next phase of growth. The role as Group Finance Director will therefore have full responsibility and mandate to develop the group’s financial, operational and management reporting. The position will also be deeply involved in the implementation of a new ERP-system and the development of all the groups processes and routines regarding accounting, financial reporting and control.

Given the importance of the position, we believe that the right candidate has a solid background from one of the Big 4, with in depth knowledge of accounting, consolidation and reporting skills. Preferably experience working with financial transformations whereby you have been responsible for implementing and optimizing processes and procedures to support rapid international growth. The suitable candidate also needs a strong business interest and the ability to work with strategic issues regarding the finance function together with Group CFO. Furthermore, you need a track record of implementing and/or integrating ERP-systems.

We are looking for a prestigeless “doer” who shows initiative and describes themselves as a driven problem solver who likes new challenges. You are goal orientated and a critical thinker with superior analytical skills. As the role will have many internal contact areas, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills is required. Furthermore, you have strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

  • Full responsibility of the groups entire financial, operational and management reporting structure.
  • Timely consolidation of financial data from subsidiaries and affiliated companies with high quality
  • Consolidation of forecast, budget and long-term plans
  • Responsible for internal control of the consolidated financial statements
  • Development and maintenance of the Group’s financial model
  • Responsible for the implementation of the newly acquired companies.  
  • Support and train the subsidiaries in accounting- and reporting related questions.
  • Responsible for implementation and integration of financial system and infrastructure within the group.
  • Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

The position is located in Stockholm and reports to Group CFO.
