Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a journey of continuous growth – now in search for our next star – a passionate Group Financial Controller to our Group Accounting function, consisting of four members. This is a new, and broad, role that plays a vital part in the team’s timely and accurate delivery of high-quality financial consolidation and reporting.

Group Accounting within Dometic is part of Group Finance and is responsible for financial analysis, control, and external reporting of the group consisting of about 100 companies globally. Specifically, the function is responsible for the group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reports, including the forecast and financial plan reporting according to IFRS. The function retains ownership of the group’s unified consolidation system, AARO. Group Accounting engages closely with all reporting entities and other Group Finance functions. The financial insights it generates are essential for the executive leadership, board of directors, and public stakeholders, emphasizing the necessity for accuracy, quality, and punctuality.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with a keen interest in group accounting and an interest in developing their skills within the whole spectrum of group accounting and reporting and attributed reporting standards. The right candidate has an academic degree in a relevant field, combined with 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or within audit, having audited multinational and listed companies on a group level. Alternatively, we seek someone with experience from a similar role.

To succeed in this role, strong excel skills are required and the right candidate has an analytical mindset and a structured and accurate way of working. We seek a people person who is open and flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment tackling complex accounting challenges. As this is a new role, the right candidate has to have a curious mind-set with an eagerness to learn and develop. Fluency in Swedish and English, in both verbal and written communication, is required. The role reports to the Head of Group Accounting and is placed at the group’s headquarters in Solna.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Take part in the group’s consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Take part in the group’s external reporting.
  • Provide support to subsidiaries throughout the Group on reporting and accounting matters.
  • Assisting legal entities with IFRS 16 Leases inquiries and the administration of AARO Lease, in collaboration with Group Accounting.
  • Assisting in the forecast and financial plan reporting.
  • Assisting with period administration in AARO, the group’s reporting system.
  • Participating in other Group Finance projects as needed.
