Scandi Standard loves good, healthy and climate-friendly chicken. We are the leading producer of chicken-based food products in the Nordic countries and in Ireland. The company produces, markets and sells processed, chilled and frozen products under the well-known brands Kronfågel, Danpo, Den Stolte Hane, Naapurin Maalaiskana and Manor Farm. We are, on behalf of Scandi Standard, looking for an ambitious Group Controller with focus on management reporting. The Group Business Controls function, consisting of three members, is developing toward new goals driven by ERP transformation and a new strategy where this position will play a key role in developing operational reporting, strategic and operational analysis to enhance decision making for Group Management and Board of Directors.

We are looking for a talented person with a deep interest and knowledge in systems and IT and has an analytical mindset. The suitable candidate needs to have an international mindset and the capacity to drive change. The target profile has a university degree in accounting, finance or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience in Controlling/FP&A roles from multinational groups or consulting firms. The role is broad with many cross-function contacts and the right candidate needs to have a customer, service and solution-driven mindset. The job requires fluency in English and Swedish, high flexibility, and the ability to work towards deadlines in a high paced organization.

Furthermore we are searching for someone with excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and experience from FPM (Unit4) is an advantage. On a personal level we are looking for a person who see yourself as a people person, who is open and sociable with a strong drive, an ability to persuade and challenge, when needed, and high integrity. 

Key responsibilities and Activities:

  • Responsibility for producing and developing the report package to Group management, the Board of Directors and for ad-hoc reports
  • Provide operational data for quarterly reports and basis for annual reports.
  • Develop and implement reporting and analytical models
  • Monitor economic trends and be able to explain and incorporate findings into analysis, management reports and forecasts
  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, work across functions and challenge the organization when needed
  • Participate in various Group wide improvement projects

This position is placed at Scandi Standard’s headquarter in Stockholm and reports to Head of Group Business control.
